• Nintendo DSi

He third iteration of the best-selling portable video game system and Nintendo's latest evolution in hand-held gaming, Nintendo DSi gives new and veteran gamers the ability to customize, personalize and share their experiences with friends and family.
Two built-in, interactive cameras let people snap, modify and upload photos to Facebook, while recorded sounds can be played and manipulated in interesting and imaginative ways.
It also lets gamers get connected with friends and family, offering advanced wireless options that allow multiple users to play multiplayer games, as well as the ability to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Nintendo's wireless gaming network.
Players can also connect to the Nintendo DSi Shop to download unique DSiWare games and a range of applications, including the free Nintendo DSi Browser and Flipnote Studio, using Nintendo DSi Points™. Downloads are available in a variety of point ranges, from 200, 500, or 800+ points - and some are free! Find it all when you connect to the Nintendo DSi Shop. It's the perfect gift idea for the
Available in Blue and Black, as well as the newest DSi colours, Pink and White!
    Price: $184.95
    - Item can be purchased at Toys R Us, Walmart, Sears
The Nintendo DSi is an excellent portable entertainment system, as was the Game Boy, but the DSi brings gaming on this small machine to a whole other level.
The DSi not only has two screens to show the game better, and in more detail, but the lower screen is even a touch screen, meaning that you can use a stylus pen, or your finger to control your character, play Sudoku, or bend your friends face with the Nintendo DSi camera feature.
The Nintendo DSi camera feature lets you take pictures of you and your friends and save them on an SD card, so you can download them onto your computer. Once you have taken a photo, you can distort faces, draw on them, add stamps, change the colour of the picture, or make your face look like an IM emotion! You can even post these newly taken pictures on Facebook, if you have a wireless Internet connection.
You can connect to the Internet with the DSi and download games with a Nintendo Points card.
Unfortunately, you cannot access the Internet and go to websites as you can with the Nintendo Wii, but with all the other great things on the DSi, why would you need it?
With Nintendo DSi sound, you can upload music onto the DSi - straight from your computer.
You can also record your speech. Once these files are on your DSi, you can warp them, making them fast, slow, high pitched, low pitched, sound like a parakeet, chipmunk, robot or have a high, or low harmony. Overall, the DSi is pretty fun, even without the games you can purchase separately!”
