Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has rubbished rumours about his sexuality by insisting: “I’m not gay.”
The movie star, 20, who has previously had an on-off relationship with 24-year-old actress Laura O’Toole, has been plagued by speculation he is not straight.
But in an interview with music channel MTV, he said: “If people want to say that, they can.
“I’m not. I’m straight.”
He added: “My favourite thing I saw was a guy on the internet who said, ‘Of course he’s gay, he’s got a gay face’.”
“I thought that that was a kind of an odd sort of thing to say anyway.
“A gay face? That’s a very worrying thing, like they have sat at home with pictures of me next to other famous gay folks.”
Daniel reportedly recently made a “major donation” to a US charity supporting gay men, lesbians and bisexuals.
