Tiger Woods' wife Elin Nordegren ditches plans for £200million divorce
Tiger Woods' wife has dramatically ditched her plans for a £200million divorce, it was claimed last night.
Elin Nordegren had been ready to split from the world's richest sportsman after reports he cheated with 19 different women.
But after spending five days with him at a sex addiction rehab centre, Elin, 30, is said to have changed her mind.
She is believed to be impressed at how serious Tiger, 34, is about saving their marriage. And she said to have become convinced they CAN work it out.
US website RadarOnline claimed a source said: "She was happy when she came home. Things went well."
Elin witnessed how hard Tiger is working on his problems at the Pine Grove clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
She is reported to have attended counselling sessions with him before flying back to their Florida home by private jet. The clinic reportedly requires patients to undergo couples' therapy including a "disclosure day" where cheating partners admit all their secret affairs.
A source said: "He told her he's serious about making it work and doing whatever he can."
The golf legend was unmasked as a serial sex cheat in November after crashing his car while fleeing from his wife during a row.
Tiger is said to have lost £600,000 a day since the scandal broke, losing out on sponsorships, potential winnings and appearance pay.
Earlier this week a US mag gave an account of how Tiger had tried to convince Elin he was not having a fling with Rachel Uchitel, 34, by getting the women to speak on the phone.
Reporter Gerald Posner said: "The two spoke for half an hour. After Woods fell asleep Elin found text messages to Uchitel and one that said, 'You are the only one I've loved.' "Elin began texting, pretending to be Tiger.
Uchitel texted back. Elin called Uchitel, who answered thinking it was Tiger. Elin said something approximating to, 'I knew it was you.' "
