No US help needed for SWA offensive’
ISLAMABAD—Pakistan army has finally decided to launch major offensive against Taliban militants in South Wazirisitan without any US assistance so that the network of their slain Supreme Commander Baitullah Mehsud could be dismantled.
High level official sources informed Online Taliban Supreme Commander Baitullah Mehsud, his successor Hakimullah Mehsud and Kareem Ullah Mehsud have died and now Wali-Ur-Rehman and Qari Hussain are running the banned terrorists organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
Baitullah Mehsud Group has 4,000 to 5000 terrorists out of which more than 1500 are Uzbeks and they are getting help from India and other foreign countries, official sources said while ruling out possibility of any talks with them.
After the death of Taliban Supreme Commander Baitullah Mehsud, the Tehreek has been weakened and commanders in their session at Mir Ali vowed to carryout large scale suicide bombings around the country, sources said.
Qari Hussain is running suicide training camp at Kot Kai area of South Waziristan. South Wazirisitan is hub of terrorists where operation would be launched but no specific timeframe can be given in this respect.

Replying to a question, official sources said, Baitullah Mehsud Group is also assisting terrorists in Khyber agency, Bajaur, Mehmond agency and Orakzai agency and we have concrete evidences that India and some other foreign sources are supplying weapons and monetary aid to TTP.
During last year, 252 bomb blasts occurred throughout the country out of which 48 were suicide bombings. 677 innocent civilians including 28 renowned tribal elders and Maliks and security officials lost their lives in these bombings, sources said.
Answering to another question, sources added, the total population of South Wazirisitan is 30,0000 and due to report appearing in some newspapers that the army could begin offensive more than 80,000 people have been shifted to camps in Dera Ismial Khan.
The tribesmen are collaborating with army and they have told us to clear the area from terrorists for peace lasting in the agency, sources said.
This time the terrorists would have no chance to run and arrangements in this respect have been finalized. All roads, which can help terrorists to run, have been blocked. The army is expecting tough resistance because terrorists would fight by burning their boats, sources said.
Sources went on to say some political groups are supporting Baitullah Mehsud network and urging the Government to strike deal with them.
As a result of operation, suicide bombing, kidnapping of school going bus and prominent personality can not be ruled out because terrorists in frustration and despondency can do anything.
